Digital X-ray

An x-ray (radiograph) is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging. At impact diagnostics, we use fully digital x-ray techniques. The department is located on the Ground Floor of the where most of the General Radiology work is done.

Special X-Ray Investigations:

  • I.V.P.
  • Hysterosalpingography
  • Retrograde Cystouurethrograhy
  • Micturating Cystouurethrograhy
  • Barium Swallow
  • Barium Meal
  • Barium Enema
  • Barium Follow through
  • Small Bowel Enema
  • Conray Dye Studies
  • Fistulogram
  • Sinogram
  • Loopogram
  • Nephrostogram
  • Sialography

Mammography

Mammography is the process of using low-dose amplitude-X-rays to examine the breast and is used as a diagnostic as well as a screening tool. Mammography helps in early detection of breast cancer, typically through detection of characteristic masses and/or micro calcifications.
